Zelda Lockhart
Recently appointed Piedmont Laureate Zelda Lockhart, author of the novels Fifth Born, Cold Running Creek and the forthcoming Fifth Born II: The Hundredth Turtle, will be the featured guest on WUNC’s The State of Things on Thursday, September 17, at noon. The program marks her first official appearance in her new position, which continues throughout 2010, and there are several more events already on the calendar, including workshops in Charlotte, Durham, and Raleigh.
